How it works
Upload → see risky clauses → know what to ask. Built for small businesses checking a lease, MSA, or SOW before they sign.
Upload what they sent
Drop in the same Word or PDF sitting in your inbox. Keep the logos. Keep the original.
Takes seconds, not an afternoon
See the sentences that can hurt you
We only keep a risk if we can copy the exact line from your file. Then we tell you why it matters and what to ask for.
A punch list, not a 20-page memo
Reply prepared
Free: the risk list as a PDF brief. Pro: comments on those words in the original file — send it back marked up.
You look prepared. You are not guessing.
What we check
Commercial and retail leases, vendor and SaaS agreements (MSAs), freelance and consulting contracts, statements of work, and NDAs. Upload a PDF or Word file; scanned PDFs are read with text recognition.
The check looks for the clauses that most often cost small businesses money: automatic renewals with short cancel windows, price increases you cannot refuse, uncapped liability and one-sided indemnities, termination rights only the other side has, rent reviews that only go up, break clauses that are easy to fail, personal guarantees, IP assigned before you are paid, and disputes sent to a court far from you.
Every risk comes with the sentence
A finding is kept only if we can copy the exact wording from your file. You see the quote, a severity (high, medium or low), why it matters in plain words, and a specific change to ask for. If we cannot point to the sentence, it is not in your report.
Your side of the deal, your jurisdiction
Free checks give a general review. On Pro you tell us which party you are and where the contract applies (a US state, England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, an Australian state, New Zealand or a UAE emirate), and findings are scored from your side, with short local context where it applies. When something depends on local law we do not cover, we say so instead of guessing.
From findings to a reply
Once the check is done, Draft my reply writes a short email to the landlord, vendor or client listing your asks, with proposed wording for each risky clause. Pro adds a PDF brief and comments on the original Word or PDF file, so you can send it back marked up.
Starting from scratch? Create a mutual or one-way NDA from our plain-English starter template, and we check the draft the same way before you send it.
What happens to your file
Your original file is deleted from our servers after seven days. Your findings stay in your account until you delete the review. Contract text is sent to our AI provider only to run your check.
Not legal advice — a quote-backed punch list so you know what to raise with a lawyer or the other side.
